In the middle of the twenty first century, a devastating second-sun sends the world into disarray.
This event is remembered as First Red. Survivors scramble across continents and struggle to assimilate into the wary societies that remain. Relationships between cultures weaken.
Twenty years later in the East-Asian city of UOKA-2, tensions rise between two rival factions as the return of the second sun draws near.
The authoritarian Strikers lure desperate outsiders with the promise of salvation from Second Red, so long as they labour to build the gang’s escape vessel; A-GOR.
Those who believe the second sun’s return is inescapable join the Red Flares; a cult who run towards a fateful death.
Survival is that much harder for those left surviving between this escalating standoff.
In the East Ward slum, a trio of orphaned outlaws; Rin, Emi and Brill, plot to unite the populace and liberate A-GOR from the Strikers before Second Red destroys UOKA-2.
For survival to stand a chance, the threads of scorn that bind the city will need to be undone.
Part Two
After the East-ward is set alight, the outlaws rush to prevent suspicion from deepening.
Emi must confront a traumatic figure from her past if she has any hope of uniting her people.
Rin gambles with his life to seek answers to the questions that have long haunted him.
